Fees & Rebates
There are various ways to access affordable counselling: either through self-funding,
rebates, or fully funded services, please see a detailed list of options below.
(This information is regularly updated, however please confirm accuracy prior to your appointment; last update: 20/06/2021)
Walk & Talk Therapy:
Bulk-billing is available for pension or health care card holders that are dependent on social security payments.
Adjustment of fees will also be considered for financial hardship, or special circumstances, such as no access to Medicare or if required for longer term therapy.
Supervision & Coaching:
There are costs associated with every booking, making cancellation fees a necessity. As I base most of my practice on regular sessions, e.g. every 1, 2, or 4 weeks, I am usually unable to refill the appointment by offering the time to another client or supervisee. For these reasons, I request 7 days notice of cancellation, otherwise a fee will be charged as follows:
Please note: Medicare/private insurance does not cover cancellation fees.
(NB: rebates are higher if you have reached the Medicare safety net threshold).
Medicare rebates of $77.10 if a referral is made by a GP under a Mental Health Care Plan.
Due to Covid pandemic, clients can now access up to 20 subsidised sessions each calendar year until 30 June 2022.
Can now be accessed for Telehealth (video or telephone) sessions until 31/12/2021.
