Fees During Covid-19 (Coronavirus)

  • On this page you will find information about fees and various funding options for telehealth (telephone or video) counselling.

  • If you would like to attend in person, please see fees applicable on the Fees and Rebates page.

  • Supervision and Coaching services are also available via telephone/video at the usual rate, please see the
    Fees and Rebates page.

Medicare Rebates

Medicare/Telehealth for Covid-19 [Coronavirus]:

To prevent unneccessary travel and exposure, people with a GP referral under a mental health treatment plan can access bulk-billed telehealth consultations until 13/09/2020. Currently, all Medicare recipients are eligible for this rebate.

If you are concerned about the pandemic and want to limit exposure, but are not eligible for Medicare, or other options listed here, I am currently offering the following rates for telephone counselling:

Full fee.................................$85

Concession*........................$65

Cancellation Policy:

As fees are already heavily discounted with telehealth services, cancellations fees will still apply. There are costs associated with every booking, making cancellation fees a necessity. As I base most of my practice on regular sessions, e.g.  every 1, 2, or 4 weeks, I am usually unable to refill the appointment by offering the time to another client or supervisee. For these reasons, I request 7 days notice of cancellation, otherwise a fee will be charged as follows:

Full fee..................................$80

Concession*.........................$40

Please note: Medicare/private insurance does not cover cancellation fees.

* Concession rates are available for pension or health care card holders.
